This little baby could be used alone or with a partner, and is great for a beginner. With two speeds of vibration, it's not too advanced. It has a nice curve to it, giving a nice fit for stimulating both the clitoris and the vaginal lips. It can also be used to stimulate other areas of the body, such as breasts, nipples, neck, anywhere really.
This toy is made of soft, velvety, ABS plastic. I enjoy the velvety feel of it, but it is still a rigid vibe. Since it's made of plastic, it's non-porous, and it's compatible with any type of lube, silicone, water, or oil-based. It had a slight odor to it when held near the face, but not unbearable. It does have slight ribbing going around the shaft, vertical, rather than horizontal. To be honest, I couldn't really tell that it was there.
The Little Honey #9 has a nice curve to it, giving it a slightly bulbous head. It also has ridges running vertically around the shaft. I didn't notice these, but other women may find pleasure from them. It's a perfect size for someone who's new to toys. At 4-3/4 inches length, 3-1/4 inches circumference, and 1 inch diameter, it's very approachable, and shouldn't scare many people. It's very easy to take this along with you on a trip, you may even be able to fit it inside your purse. I know it fits great in mine! This also helps as it's small enough to be stored almost anywhere you may want to hide it.
The vibrations in the Little Honey #9 are concentrated in the head of it, making it great for clitoral stimulation. Thankfully they can also be felt pretty much throughout the shaft of the toy. There is a very handy push button control on the end of this toy. My only complaint about the control is that it takes a bit of pressure to turn it on or switch vibrations. I needed two hands for it. It also sort of stops when you begin to push it, which is a bit of a turn-off.
It's slightly noisy, but not overly so. I haven't gotten a chance to use it in the bath yet, but I did put it in a sink full of water, turned on, for about five minutes. When I took it out, the inside of the battery pack was completely dry, so I would say that it is nicely waterproof!
The Little Honey #9 is very easy to maintain and care for. The plastic can be cleaned with either soap and water or your favorite toy cleaner. It takes one AA battery to operate. It can safely be stored with toys made of any other materials, without fear of harming it. It's also safe to use with any types of lube you may own.
